M1T 's older or younger brother? : Antaeus Labs ULTRADROL

Methylstenbolone -- Ultradrol

I had given my opinion on Antaeus Labs in a prior post on Trenazone. Again, they seem to be a solid, honest, and educated company. There recent articles and actions have reinforced that. They have released some very well written and informative articles, which I found impressive (not that anyone could or should give a shit about what I think).

Antaeus Labs has released ULTRADROL the "latest greatest" PH on the market. ULTRADROL contains 2mg/capsule of Methylstenbolone AKA 2a,17a-dimethyl-17b-hydroxy-5a-androstan-1-ene-3-one ( pic below).

Methyl-stenbolone is not a new steroid; Stenbolone was released to the market in 1963 by Syntex as an alternative to their more toxic and androgenic Anadrol. Stenbolone has remained a steroid commonly used by bodybuilders.
Methyl-stenbolone is just a 17a-alkylated version of stenbolone. This compound or concept of this compound is not new comer to the "prohormone" market. It was originally a claimed ingredient in IDS Mass Tabs. However, chatter on the forum has said that lab test by FDA and others displayed it to be a low dose of Methylmasteron or SD. The company Culver Concepts produced a product called M-Sten 10 which was 30, 10mg, tablets containing what was claimed to be Methylstenbolone. There is not too much information on Culver Concepts M-Sten 10 but as far as I know it is legit methylstenbolone. Although Antaeus Labs does claim to be the first company with legit Methylstenbolone. Antaeus has stated they could only acquire 90% purity with this compound. The act of actually disclosing this actually adds to my respect for this company. I believe the 10% contamination is methasteron, which is completely fine with me. This just means that for each capsule there is 1.8 mg's of methylsten and .2mgs of methasteron.

I do not believe there is much real world experience with this compound. We will have to wait for ULTRADROL logs to come out. From a quick glance Methylstenbolone is some where between Methasteron and Methyl-1-testosterone. M1T with a 2-methyl added or Methasteron with a 1-ene added; this is depicted visually below.

You can expect this to be a fairly harsh compound, this is based solely off the fact that M1T was the harshest compound ever produced and SD is probably right behind it. Aside from the negative sides I am sure this will produce some solid gains. However, research shows that it may not be significantly different from M1T. Research shows that there is a decreased androgenic property, increase in AR selectivity, and increased anabolic properties with the addition of a 1-ene bond; for the 2-methyl addition there is an increase in anabolic activity which may be due to the prevention of aromatization. This info would lead you to believe that the combination of both the 2-methyl and 1-ene would create the ultimate anabolic! Butttttt according to Counsell RE, Klimstra PD, Colton FB. Anabolic agents. Derivatives of 5_-androst-1-ene. J Org Chem 1962;27:248–53 adding a 2-methyl to a 5a-androst-1-ene steroid did not show a dramatic effect on anabolic and androgenic potentcies. Keeping that in mind, do not write this off the 2-ene may actually effect the steroid in other metabolic ways. This compound could prove to be a great alternative to the old M1T, touted as one of the most popular legal anabolics of all time. To compare the anabolic/androgenic ratio of Methylsten to Methasteron: According to Vida Methylsten is 90-170:660 and Methasteron is 20:400. Remember that these are only ratios, not relative strengths of the compound. That is about as much as I can contribute without writing a book on the subject; for now we will have to subject ULTRADROL to the test of time.

Bold--> IBE Boladrol

Usually I am extremely happy about new prohormones. Although I can't say I truly agree with IBE's new release, of Boladrol. My concern is the release of such a strong compound through legal pathways and marketing it as a nutritional supplement. In IBE's defence, it is not all over the internet on websites marked as a test booster. I would assume that the people buying it directly from IBE or PHF, (which is the same company, PHF purchased IBE) are purchasing it because they know what it is. IBE does not shy away from saying it is one of the strongest prohormones ever created. OK OK enough with my ethical bullshit! Let's tear this supp/PH/designer up!!

So Boladrol is 7, 17-alpha-dimethyl-androsten-3, 17-diol or more simply Boladiol (pictured below), Boldiol is a precursor to Bolasterone. To become Bolasterone, Boldiol must must have the 3-OH (the HO group at the bottom left of the pic above) converted to a 3-keto group. Technically, because Boldiol requires conversion to become Bolasterone, it is a prohormone to Bolasterone (pictured below). But because it contains 17-alpha alkylation and is most likely active in the diol version, I would classify this more as a pro-steroid than a prohormone. I consider naturally occurring steroids, mostly with 17-keto groups to be true prohormones.

Boldiol is basically a diol version of methyltestosterone with a methyl group at the 7th position. Here is a quote from one of my past blogs about the 7-methyl group. "I believe the addition of the 7a-methyl group will increase the androgenicity even more. Because this modification has been used before for the purpose of male contraceptives ie. 7a-methyl-19-nortestosterone(MENT). This is a nandrolone molecule with a 7-alpha alkylation to increase androgen receptor binding of nandrolone." I'm sure you can use your imagination to fathom how androgenic this compound is. The 7a-methyl group will make an inherently low androgenic compound like nandrolone, bind strongly to the androgen receptor. Boldiol is an inherently androgenic compound with the added 7a-methyl group.

An IBE rep quoted the compound as 6x more anabolic and 3x more androgenic than methyltestosterone. Thus the 7a-methyl must add to anabolism as well. To give you a further idea of this compounds strength, it is dosed at 2mg/cap, not to excedd 4mg per day. This is dosed at about the same dosage as methyltrienolone!

On the topic of liver toxicity I am going to lean towards the very toxic side. According to an article at mesoRX by Anthony Roberts, cheque drops AKA Mibolerone is one of the most toxic steroid ever made. (pictured below)

The article also warns against the risk of serious liver damage when using for more than two weeks. Mibolerone is basically a non diol and 19-nor version of Boldiol. Because of the similarity of these two compounds there may be some correlation between toxicities.

In conclusion IBE has produced a legal precursor to one of the strongest steroids available. I don't know whether to take my hat off to IBE or point the finger of shame. I will leave that part up to you.

Antaeus Labs Trenazone

Trenazone: Transdermal Dienolone

Antaeus Labs is a recent addition to the anabolics game. They have a very simply designed website that is easy to navigate. The information on the website is delivered in a very intelligent and straight forward manner. I have not used the product but just based on the websites language and lack of "supplement" marketing tactics, I believe they are a respectable company with a well designed supplement. Remeber that assumption is based solely on my first glance at their website.

Antaeus Labs has developed transdermal Dienolone. This is a 19-nor hormonal product in a transdermal carrier. Dienolone may be more recogonizable as estra-4,9-dien-17b-ol-3-one Dienolone->

If this compound and nomenclature look familiar to you this is because this is the parent/active form of the all so famous (now banned) "tren" prohormone estra-4-9-diene-3-17-dione, pictured below.

When the "tren" PH was taken orally it was converted via 17- beta hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase (17-bhsd) enzyme, into the dienolone compound listed above, hence it was a true prohormone to dienolone. Once the compound is ingested this enzyme converts the 17-keto (double bonded oxygen) into a 17-OH molecule which is the active form, dienolone.

It is also the parent/non-orally available form of methyldienolone(now banned), pictured below.

Methyldienolone is the methylated or 17-alpha alkylated (17-aa) version of dienolone. The methyl group at the 17th position creates steric hinderance. This maintains the 17-OH molecule by preventing the conversion to the inactive 17-keto form.

With the orally available form of Dienolone, Methyldienolone; and the precursor to Dienolone, estra-4-9-diene-3-17-dione being banned; we are left with the parent compound Dienolone. The problem with dienolone is that when ingested orally it will be converted to to the inactive prohormone version via 17-bhsd.

In order to supply this legal version of dienolone to our bloodstream it must either be injected or delivered transdermally. Anteus Labs has saved the day by taking the liberty of suspending dienolone in the following transdermal solution:

Thiazone- (Benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one-2-butyl-1,1-dioxide) a cyclical compound with skin penetration enhancement capabilities.

Oleic Acid- Is a fatty acid, fatty acids have been shown to help permeate the skin lipid barrier and work synergistically with propylene glycol, the next ingredient.

Propylene Gycol- Specifically has been shown to increase skins permeability of steroids and works synergistically with saturated and unsaturated fatty acids for transdermal penetration.

Glycerin- Is included to prevent skin irritation.

This leaves us with an excellent delivery system for dienolone which should produce some serious muscle gains without the liver toxicity of oral steroids. This compound should be much more anabolic and slightly more androgenic than testosterone.

Mysterious Monsterdrol XT

Recently there has been a great presence on the boards by a relatively new company, Ruthless Supplements Inc. This company goes by the acronym RLS, they are a branch of the brand Need to Build Muscle or NTBM. They both go by acronyms and both have very similar websites. These companies are owned by Nathan Chase, who also previously owned A couple months ago RLS released Monsterdrol XT which was supposed to be 2-cyano desoxymethyltestosterone, AKA 2-cyano DMT, AKA 2-cyano Madol. Which is simply DMT with a cyan group at the 2 position, the compound is pictured below.

Now this is all great stuff and normally I would be excited for such a great oral designer to be released. However, shortly after it's release, someone whom I am assuming has products which would directly compete with this compound, sent it to be analyzed by a laboratory. The results came back that it did not have any 2-cyanoDMT in it! It is purported that the wife of the owner of IBE had ordered it sent to the lab, but I believe a RLS rep and has not been confirmed. Regardless, lab results showed caffeine, .5mg of DHEA, and .5mg of Methasteron. The claimed ingredients on the label were not found.
RLS supplements did bite the bullet and take the blame for not having the products tested prior to selling them. They had the products manufactured by Reaction Nutrition.
This irresponsible behavior is the cause of restrictions on our rights as people; because companies especially Reaction Nutrition can act with such disregard for the public as well as the company they are supplying. It was not the best call on Nathan Chase's part, not to have a novel compound tested. When something is being custom synthesized for the first time I don't understand how you could blindly sell something to the public without a Certificate of Analysis. Shame on Need to Build Muscle / Ruthless Supplements, and especially Reaction Nutrition for their irresponsibility and poor quality.

Is It [LowT]?

As the shadow of the last decade disperses and the dawn of the new one sheds light upon us; we begin to transition from the played out to the new, fresh, and entertaining. With this, I place my scope of observation on the pharmaceutical industry and the FDA. Unless you had spent the last 10 years in Mexico, Iran, Turkey, Kuwait, Pakistan, Brazil, Greece, Iraq, Thailand, or some Eastern European country(don't quote me on each one of those) where steroids are available over the counter; then you know that the US has spent major efforts over the past 10 years cracking down on steroids.

The boys over at capitol hill even called in some MLB players to question them in a McCarthyistic style hearing. What did this do for America? I'm not sure but I do know the steroid hearings were lead by Representative Henry Waxman...

Enough said...

The steroid excitement came and went, tons of under ground labs, online stores, and local suppliers were shut down. The streets are clean and crazy strung out steroid junkies with drool dripping down their face, knuckles dragging, and muscles shrinking can't find their drugs. Where do these hooligans turn? The pharmaceutical industry you dope. They have arisen from the shadows with their new advertising campaign "Is it LowT?" Which means do you have low testosterone. Take a look

This campaign is presented by Solvay Pharmaceuticals which "is now part of one of the world's leading health care and medical research companies devoted to addressing important health needs of people across the globe." The devils serum, testosterone, is now a global health need!

To my surprise in the same week I saw the "Is it LowT" ad on TV I also saw this ad for the medical institute Cenegenics.

I will agree that the legal control of steroids prevents abuse and keeps them out of the wrong hands, i.e. children. I don't understand why doctor after doctor, after politician after politician, after reporter after reporter told us how dangerous they are. Now we have TV commercials and the pharm industry telling us how great they are.

In summary: 1. Political, social, and media anti-doping frenzy created. 2. The streets are cleaned of hormones. 3. Social attention disappears 4. Pharm companies are now promoting hormones for health.

I am not a fan of conspiracy theory but for some reason this seems like one giant coincidence.

Really VPX? Really?

Disclaimer: I am not in any way sponsored nor do I take sides or try to destroy the reputations of companies. I just use what I know to call it like I see it. I don't know too much about Purus Labs and to be honest their new pre-work out, while being a solid supplement, I do not believe to be anything monumental.

Today I began my usual internet-wide search for new supplements, supplement news/reviews, and gossip. During this electronic journey I stumbled upon a truly perplexing article. This article was an attack on the company Purus Labs by the company VPX, this article can be found on the VPX blog. Basically VPX CEO Jack Owoc(pictured on right), claims Purus Labs"is one of the biggest black market dealers of bogus steroids in America unlawfully operating as a supplement company." He also claims their write up on the supplement is a bastardization of research articles because it is for marketing use, at the same time he is trying to "protect the consumer" for marketing reasons. Continuing with the slanderous propaganda... he makes a list of what you, the consumer, will be doing, if you purchase products from Purus. After you purchase a Purus Lab product you will be:

  1. Supporting clandestine drug labs and dealers.
  2. Maybe purchasing supplements cross contaminated with anabolic steroids.
  3. May be purchasing a supplement purposely infused with anabolic steroids and or other drugs --Do you honestly think a drug dealer cares if your supplements are cross contaminated with air born steroids or steroid residue from unclean manufacturing equipment? Do you honestly think an anabolic steroid dealer wouldn't spike their Muscle Marinade with steroids.

With that said here is my second and final response...

Oh wait what is that Jack??? OHHH VPX 1-testosterone with a long acting cypionate ester... aaannd a rubber stopper to be used as an injectable???

I almost forgot my personal favorite.

Gangsta Tesssttttt.. that shit is fire ma dude... Could that be marketing to young adults? which are not in any need of hormonal modification! maybe just maybe, and the list goes on EQ(1,4 AD), Monster Test(M-1-T), MAD 250(methyl 4-AD).

Basically all I'm saying is take it easy VPX you started out the same way as Purus, making prohormones. I know you don't make them anymore but I'm sure you wish you could. You just don't have the same size balls you did when you were a younger company and that's ok.
I will leave you with probably the only quote I have ever remebered from the bible. "Take the plank out of your own eye before you remove the splinter from the eye of your brother."

Is it Possible???

Yes... Yes it is my friends! A new prohormone has been released! (OK, don't get too excited it's more like a re-release, but I'll write about it anyway) and it just warms my heart to type those words. I thought the era of prohormones was over with the January 2010 ban; but how could I be so foolish. OK, I've expressed enough excitement for one paragraph. WAIT FOR IT!!! annnnd the "new" re-release is... ALPHA ONE by CEL.

Here we go... CEL makes clones, that's what they do and I have no disrespect for them because they provide a whole array of different, pure compounds to the consumer; and we the consumer appreciate that. The name is Alpha One, so the first thing that comes to mind is, this is a Methyl-1 Alpha clone. Methyl-1 Alpha was released by Legal Gear, about a year after the 2004 ban. I believe it was their follow up product to M-1-P. I took a look at the active compound listed and sure enough, Methyl-1-Etiocholenolol-Epietiocholanolone. The same ingredient that was listed in M-1-A, now that is where the easy part came to an end.

Armed with the simple knowledge that Alpha One was the same as M-1-A, I set off to write just that... Then I realized know one actually knows what the hell it is. Just looking at the ridiculous nomenclature one would think it is two compounds. Etiocholane is just another word for 5b-androstane(Figure 1);
Figure 1.

This term is used to denote a single 19-carbon steroid structure, listing it twice would mean there are two separate molecules. The label lists the entire name @ 20mg of, therefore we already know the nomenclature is wrong. Now, I don't believe methyl-1-etiocholenolol is even close to being an IUPAC nomenclature, but I will still break it down. From past experience we know methyl-1-test(Figure 2) is a testosterone molecule with a 17-alpha methyl group added for oral bioavailability and the double bond in the first ring is located at the 1 position instead of the 4 position, found in testosterone. So I will assume that this is a 17-alpha alkylated steroid being that the name starts with methyl. Next the etiocholane name is changed to have an -en instead of the -an which would show that it is not 5-alpha or 5-beta reduced and that it does contain a double bond in the molecule. The 1 in the name denotes this double bond @ the 1 position. Finally the -olol at the end denotes a diol, meaning there are -OH groups at the 3rd and 17th position. This would give us a diol version of methyl-1-testosterone(Figure 3), which would be a direct precursor to M-1-T with the conversion of the -OH @ the 3 position in the first ring.

Then there is a epietiocholanolone just thrown on the end. Epietiocholanolone is another name for epi-5-beta androsterone(Figure 4). So this is an androstane with an-OH @ the 3 position and a ketone @ the 17 position. In my humble opinion this is a worthless compound, it would take two conversions to become active. The 17-keto would have to be converted to an -OH and the -OH @ the 3 position would have to be converted to a ketone. This would produce a 5-alpha reduced androgen = DHT.
Those are the two compounds that I would hypothesize to be in this supplement. However, according to a post from William Llewellyn @ and a rumored quote from Patrick Arnold, this compound is 7a-Methylandrost-1-ene-3b-ol-17-one(Figure 5).
Which is basically Androsterone with a double bond @ the 1 position and a methyl group at the 7 position. So this product requires conversions at the 1st and 17th position to become the active form of 7a-methyl-1-testosterone(Figure 6).
If this is true, this would be a fairly weak prohormone to 1-testosterone or 7a-methyl-1-testosterone. However, the bottle is dosed @ 20mg's a pill and has a max dose of 60mg's, for a max of three weeks. It is also not recommended as a first time PH; H-Drol and E-Stane are suggested to be weaker. This would mean that there is a fairly strong, most likely 17alpha alkylated PH in there. If it were an androsterone derivative it would be dosed much higher for a longer pereiod of time. My hypothesis is that it is either a diol version of M-1-T(Figure 3) or a diol version of 7a-M-1-T(Figure 7). Now, if that is the case you can expect the diol version of M-1-T to be as M-1,4-AD is to D-Bol or as Halodrol and clones are to Turinabol(because M-1,4-AD is a diol version of D-Bol and H-Drol a diol version of T-Bol).

If it is the 7-alpha alkylated version I would expect it to be extremely androgenic. This is because M-1-T is 5-alpha reduced (lacking the 4-ene) which adds to androgenicity, similar to DHT. M-1-T is actually 2220% more androgenic than normal testosterone. I believe the addition of the 7a-methyl group will increase the androgenicity even more. Because this modification has been used before for the purpose of male contraceptives ie. 7a-methyl-19-nortestosterone(MENT). This is a nandrolone molecule with a 7-alpha alkylation to increase androgen receptor binding of nandrolone. It cannot be 5-alpha reduced so it will not be as active in the prostate but will still bind strongly to androgen receptors to cause the testes to shut down.

Impatiently Waiting the Arrival of Iforce's PROTODROL!!

This morning I sat down, while drinking my protein and waximaize shake, with intentions of blasting the nutritional supplement industry for a lack of innovation and creativity. I planned on addressing that and the over abundance of copy-cat/clone supplements, but before I was able to type a word... My eyes were drawn to a beacon of light in the distance. This glorious beam of incandescence was set forth by none other than Iforce nutrition. So, for that Iforce, I salute you. Iforce has a decent line of hormonal and non-hormonal products. I believe they were one of the first companies to re-release 1,4-AD after the 2004 pro-hormone ban. They also have clones which I was hating on earlier, but I believe that is all part of a good hormonal selection which Iforce would like to provide. I say this because the last supp they came out with, Dimethazine, was a fairly innovative and exciting compound. Although I am not sure of the validity of the claims, Dimethazine was two Methasteron molecules bound by an azine bond which was claimed to slow release and decrease liver toxicity.
"Now what the hell is Chris talking about???" you ask. Well I am talking about the new supplement from Iforce Nutrition called Protodrol.

Ok let's get down to bidness, the claimed active ingredient within Protodrol is 17a-methyl-5a-androstan-17b-ol. First I'll break down the name... Right off the bat we see the 17a-methyl, ok it's 17-alpha alkylated for oral availability, from this we can expect good oral absorption with no need for conversion to another hormone via 17 beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase. We can also expect liver toxcicity which is associated with all orally active hormones. However, Iforce claims a rare occurence with this oral which lowers its toxicity, but we will address this later. Next we notice the 5a-androstan, which means this is 5alpha-reduced and lacks the 4 to 5 carbon double bond. This will give us DHT like characteristics, considering DHT is the product of 5alpha-reductase and testosterone = 5a-reduced test. Next we see the expected 17b-ol which is the -OH @ the 17th position which will help us bind androgen receptors. Ok, all seems pretty common we have a methylated androstane... But, what about the third carbon? This is where we would usualy find a ketone, alcohol, or as we saw with Applied Nutraceuticals' The One in my previous post, a hydroxyimine. Well there is nothing. Nothing? Yes!! Nothing and here is the structure.
Generally speaking a 5alpha-reduced andro, causes the molecule to assume a chair confirmation which causes a flattening of the rings. This flattening is believed to increase androgenic activity. But, this molecule lacks an oxygen molecule @ the third position which is necessary for androgenic activity. It is believed that the androgenic activity of molecules lacking an oxygen at c-3 or c-17 is dependent upon the in-vivo oxygenation. I could not find any research on this molecule but according to Patrick Arnold of Ergopharm, this molecule has the same androgenic activity of methyl-testosterone and is 1.8 times more anabolic. In the write-up that Iforce released, a research article is quoted in saying steroids with saturated A-rings, such as in the case of Protodrol, do not induce increased levels of bilirubin. Bilirubin is a product of heme (a protein in red blood cells) catabolism. Bilirubin levels are evaluated for liver function tests. The rise in bilirubin can be associated with hepatoxic drugs. This does not necessarily mean it is not liver toxic, but it will be less stressful on one's body and liver.

So we have an oral with supposedly low toxicity, same androgenicity as methyl-test, and almost twice as anabolic! I love it, all we can do is wait and watch to see the real world results.

E-911 to be released by LG Sciences

LG Sciences, formerly know as Legal Gear is releasing a stimulant based product, to accompany their product, T-911, in the sublingual department. T-911 is a blend of androsterone and some claimed test boosters/SERMS. All of these molecules are delivered sublingualy with cyclodextrin. Cyclodextrin is a cyclical carbohydrate compound composed of 5 or more, 6-8 membered, sugar rings.
According to LG's site E-911 is a blend of "Caffeine, Geranium Oil Extract(#105-41-9), Synephrine, and Hordinine" formed into a tasty little sublingual mint tablet. The first ingredient, caffeine, is not only expected but I believe it is required for an energy product in the supplement industry; so nothing worth discussing with this compound.
The second ingredient, Geranium Oil Extract, is also nothing new but somewhat more exciting than caffeine. Geranium Oil extract is used for the ingredient Geranamine AKA methylhexaneamine or 1,3-Dimethylamylamine, which is a potent stimulant. However, according to Jalali-Heravi M, Et al. 2006, " The major constituents in the Iranian geranium oil are beta-citronellol (47.46%), citronellyl formate (11.00%), geraniol (8.74%), iso-menthone (4.32%) and linalool (3.07%)." According to Ping Z Et al. 1996, Geranium oil contains only 0.66% Geranamine, so an extract of this oil would yield a bunch or chemicals one doesn't need or want and a little bit of Geranamine which is the desired compound. This would be resolved with a standardized extract, but LG does not list the extract as standardized. You bet your ass if it was standardized for a favorable percentage of geranamine this would be listed on the label. Sooo... it doesn't sound to good for you gernanamine stimulant junkies, does it? But, wait... calm your overly stimulated central nervous system down for one second. I don't believe LG copped out and started pushing weak ass geranium extract. The label lists the CAS registry number for... you guessed it, our prized geranamine. This leads me hypothesize that LG listed the ingredient as an extract to keep the FDA off of their back and pack there new sublingual stim with the powerful punch of synthetic geranamine.
Next on the list we have synephrine AKA Oxedrine, which is another common stimulant found in many fat loss formulations. There is not much info on oral administration of synepherine. The Dietary Supplement Label Database claims it is a "Sympathetic alpha-adrenergic agonist." However, according to Carpene C, Et al. 1999, Synephrine may act as a Beta-3 Adrenergenic receptor agonist. This type of beta agonist shows promising effects for weight loss through thermogenisis, increased metabolic rate, and increased insulin sensitivity, they have even shown beneficial to blood lipid profiles. (Clapham J, Et al. 2001) These effects sound excellent, but more research would be beneficial.

The final ingredient Hordenine, is a phenylalkylamine alkaloid, which is an indirectly acting adrenergic drug. LG claims that this will prolong and increase the effect of the stimulants in E-911 and prevent crashing. However, research claims that it promotes the release of Norepinepherine stores. (Wochenschr D, Et al. 1995) Now, considering Norepi or Noradrenaline has a stimulant effect itself, I don't see how Hordenine prolongs the effect of any stims. Norepi increases heart rate, triggers the release of glucose to the blood stream, and promotes blood flow to skeletal muscle. These can all be beneficial for athletic performance and physical appearance enhancement, but I do not see how it would directly increase and prolong the effect of the other ingredients.
Just as I was finishing up this post, I checked the LG website again and it seems they have added Lecithin, Chitosan, and Acacia Seed Extract into the mix. Lecithin, is used as a food binder or can be used as a coating for tablets, and I am assuming it is used for the latter. Chitosan, is used to bind fat and excrete it, to prevent absorption and metabolism, hence less caloric intake with meals. Although Chitosan is used and marketed for this purpose the efficacy is debated and not fully supported by scientific literature. Acacia catechu, is purported to have anti-oxidant properties, it also contains various psychoactive alkaloids such as DMT and 5-MeO-DMT in the leaf and bark. I can't really take a guess at what the Acacia extract was added for, or even which species of Acacia was used. For this reason I will keep my mouth shut.
Lg has produced a stimulant based tablet with the ability to dissolve under your tongue. This should deliver the ingredients fast and effectively with a big punch for you stim users and those trying to burn off the body fat. I don't know when this will be available but keep your eyes peeled for its release at your favorite supp store and reviews on the forums.

Applied Neutriceuticals New Designer, The One

Applied Neutriceuticals in my humble opinion seems to be a straight shooting, honest company whose goal is to produce progressive supplements with good real world results.... and no I do not work for them or any supplement company for that matter. My judgment about this company is not based on experience being that I have not tried any of AN's supplements. It is based upon the buzz they have created on the internet and the fact that they list their ingredients with the actual ingredients and amounts. They have also made their way in to vitamin shoppe which leads me to believe they are pretty hot right.
Ok, enough BS, The One! that's what I want to talk about. The One is described as a pro-hormone to DHT that is 3-5 times more potent than testosterone. It also comes with Second Gear which is a support supplement to be taken during your cycle. The One contains 22.5mg of the active ingredient 17a-methyl-etioallocholan-17b-ol-3-hydroxyimine which is taken twice a day. The molecule is pictured below.
What you are looking at is a precursor to a hormone but it's not exactly DHT. It's methyl DHT! This is a strait forward pro-hormone with simple chemistry. This is methyl DHT that has been reacted with a hydroxylamine. The hydroxylamine reacts with the ketone at the third position and produces an oxime which is the N-OH double bonded at the third position in the molecule above. Overly simplified paint version of the reaction below.
So now you have an oxyimine what's the big deal? Well the big deal my friend is that you have a molecule which is not methyl DHT.... Place it in an acidic environment such as... your stomach and... BOOM that good old oxyimine is cleaved and replaced with a ketone. In lay man's terms your stomach acid turns The One into methyl DHT. AN claims that this is 3-5 times more powerful than testosterone well according to a research article provided by Methyl DHT is 3.8 times more anabolic and 1.6 times more androgenic than testosterone. I would be a little scared actually taking DHT but other than that sounds pretty good for a legal alternative.

Once you have finished your cycle of The One you need to finish it off with a nice PCT, so grab your second gear. Since second gear is nothing novel I'll make this quick. Second gear is a 550mg blend of Milk Thistle, Avena Sativa 10:1, 13-C (Indole-3-Carbinol), 6-Bromodione (6-bromo-etioallocholan-4-ene, 17-dione;50% Alpha/50% Beta)*.......50mg. Let's break this down milk thistle to support the liver, like it. Avena Sativa to prevent your elevated hormone levels from being bound by SHBG, like it. 13-c possibly anti-carcinogenic, possibly anti-estrogenic, I'll take it. 6-bromodione with a 50/50 racemic index of alpha and beta isomer, from what I hear one isomer is an aromatase inhibitor and the other is androgenic, love it!

RIP Big Bapper and Swolecat

Two bodybuilders with very popular reputations amongst online bodybuilding communities have passed away this month. Both contributed vast amounts of information and support to the online community. My heart and prayers go out to the families and all of those affected by their deaths.

Thirty-two year old Seamus Warrington (pictured above) AKA Big Bapper on the forum, passed away Friday June 19, 2009 in a local hospital. According to BigA @ a blood clot which had formed in his leg from a previous injury travelled to his heart forming a blockage. Warrington leaves behind a wife and young daughter. A memorial fund for his family has been set up in his name @ .

Pictured above is 37 year old Christopher Lear Janusz AKA Swolecat on the forums. The following obituary was take from internet websites.

German American Technologies FinaJet??????

Ok, so I am always excited to see a new prohormone or DS on the market. Usualy when there is a novel compound produced there is a ton of hype before it is released. Well when I found German American Technologies' (GAT) FinaJet with a completely different nomenclature and no hype before its release I knew something wasn't right. We know most of these companies like to find the craziest nomeclature possible... to elude big brother? to sound realy cool and new to the consumer? I'm guessing all of the above!
Now let's dive into the claimed compound, (drum roll please)

17b-Hydroxymethylandrost-4,9 11-Trien-1,4-Dien-3-One

First off anyone that took an organic chem class will notice they named the 4-ene molecule twice which is retarded to say the least. This would be a cross between dianabol/methandrostenolone and trenbolone. It could be describer as trenbolone with a double bond added @ the 1 position and a 17 alpha alkylation(17aa) for oral availability. The structure would look like this crude drawing I made in paint.
UPDATE: Spartan300 at anabolicminds also pointed out an oversight or mine... At the 10th position, which is the top carbon in between the first and second ring, there are five bonds which is impossible, carbon is only stable with four bonds. Therefore with the nomenclature prodvided, this molecule is PHYSICALY IMPOSSIBLE. GAT would have had to claim 19-nor or replace androst with estra in the name in order for this mollecule to actualy be possible.

So we have a cross between dbol and tren dosed @ 152mg/day... now I like increasing muscle mass just as much as the next guy, but increasing my liver mass is not cool! I beleive that if GAT had the capital to custom synthesize this compound they would have had the capital or atleast the man power to hype the shit out of this on the boards. Big3upgrade @ has a post that claims he had called the company and the person answering the phone claimed "Finajet is a hybrid between Estra/19-nor and TRENADROL. Finnajet is not Estra/19-nor, and its not trenadrol, its "In between". He than said they figured out a way to mix both of those compound together to make finajet. Wow thanks GAT very scientific answer.

My guess is its boldione-> 1,4-androstadiene-3,17-dione, the dieneolone precursor-> Estra-4,9-diene-3,17-dione, considering they claim there is a methyl group there is probably the epistane compound ->2a,3a-epithio-17a-methyl-5a-androstan-17b-ol as well. Why didn't they just list those? IDK it seems like a pretty good combo.

Competitive Edge Labs Release Suppress-C

Competitive Edge Labs AKA CEL is known for producing good quality clones of pre-existing pro-hormones. Suppress-C which is trans dermal cortisol suppressant was announced in April on's forum and is now available on their website.

This product is Androst-5-Ene-3b,7b,17b-Triol, commonly referred to as B(beta)-androstenetriol, abbreviated as BAET. BAET is most simply described as DHEA with an extra hydroxyl group or -OH molecule added at the seventh position of the molecule. The structure is shown below.

BAET shows immune system support and antiglucocorticoid effects in mice. Common sense would suggest that the antiglucocorticoid effect is responsible for the suppression of... you guessed our glucocorticoid friend cortisol. Being that cortisol can increase body fat, this supplement should reduce this unwanted flab that us fat Americans keep accumulating, with proper diet and exercise of course! This molecule is suspended in a proprietary blended trans dermal matrix or Isopropyl Alcohol, Benzyl Alcohol, Octyl Salicylate, Triglyceride Complex, Water, D-Limonene, Carbomer.
